hey
new to these forums but i plan to be a long time member
anywho
just bought a 88 cherokee 2dr.
got some wheels and tires lined up -
- 33x12.50x15 Yokohama Geolander ATs
on Eagle alloy 15x10.mags
they were on a 1990 Bronco
5x5.5 bolt

and my bolt spacing is 4.5
so i guess im looking to get different hubs?
what can i pull hubs off to fit my cherokee? (lots of parting out jeeps in the area)
will i need a lift before these even fit?
will i need spacers?
will i need different differentials?
what else will i need?
thoughts comments suggestions?

Hi John,
I'm new here also. I tripped over your post and thought I would answer what I could. To clear 33"s you'll prolly have to install around 4.5" of lift. To use those wheels you will need adapting wheel spacers. Then depending on backspacing the tire will prolly crunch the front and rear fenders. Now you would have to consider adding bump stops to protect the body. Or cut, cut, cut. The front diff is a hp dana 30. It will be OK with 33"s. The rear is prolly a dana 35. Look for a rubber fill plug on the cover. If it has one it's a 35. The 35 is a :bomb: on 33"s. You would want to upgrade it to a ford 8.8 or a dana 44. This is Just IMHO based on experiences I've had. Maybe a few others will weigh in. That gives ya something to think about anyways:?|

Whew that was long:lol:

very helpful already thanks, keep it coming.
im doing lots more more research
but
adapting wheel spacers?
bump stops?
backspacers?
how much am i looking at to get the parts and work done?
is it worth looking into jeeps being parted? or auto wreckers?
it might be a bit much to ask but a checklist wold be prime.
thanks, John.

and as ive been watching some youtube videos, im really not looking to cut my fenders as i have some nice looking fender flares on them.
