sluggish ride

My car has been stuttering for a while now and would periodically just turn off. The attempts I have made to fix my '95 cherokee, 4.0, manual, are as follows: new cat and muffler; plugs, wires, cap, and rotor; I also had the crank sensor changed as well. The car no longer randomly shuts off but it still stutters. From what I have seen from this sight is that I should look at the fuel filter. What if anything should I do next?

I've got a 92 xj with the 4.0 and mine stutter a real little bit at idle or at a stop sign...it's so weak i barely notice it....everyone else in the jeep thinks i'm nuts.......

I don't really know that to fix it...but i'm in the same boat as you..

i'd try looking at the fuel pump/filter... after that, the EACV and PCV valves... keep on workin' you'll figure it out![addsig]

The ride has not changed even after I replaced the fuel filter. On to the valves I guess.
