Have a 1993 Jeep Cherokee. It has an after market imobiliser fitted. To start with the fob failed, so the battery was changed in that, then found the only way to start the engine was to go through a whole process of turning key to start, messing with central locking manually then it will start. That was bad enough but now the main headlights refuse to work, along with the electric seats.
The garage originally looked at removing the immobiliser but it is to imbedded in the ECU? Any other ideas ???????????
