Cruise Control System

Good Day,

According to a mechanic, I have a Perfect Circle Series J (or 'J Series') cruise control system on my 1979 Jeep Cherokee. The rubber vacuum bellows/diaphragm that activates the system needs to replaced. Or the entire cruise control should be replaced. I would like to know what experiences and suggestions that anyone has with this type of system.

its the same unit used on all the chevy vehicles in the 80s so you can pull it off those, or any other jeep form the same time range as yours. even the 80s wranglers and early 90s cherokees and wranglers still used that same set up.

some might be shaped different but its the same set up
