XJ engine conversion

I was looking into getting an XJ for my off-roader and was wondering if anyone has seen an engine conversion to a Ford 5.0 in an cherokee? Any input welcome. Jered

Good choice as it's one of the smaller smallblocks. Have you tried a google search?

Are you set on Ford, or have you considered the GM 4.3L V6?

dude use a cadilliac 4.5. there is also a 4.9. buy a late 80s caddy and it will bolt in with no adapters. theres a guy with a site who shows how its done.
