high output water pumps

my 98 jeep tj overheats regularly out here in the mohave desert, just regular driving it... i brought it to the dealership to try to fix the problem and they can not... anyone know if a high output water pump will fix my problem, or just hurt my tight budget?

Check your Fan Clutch 1st thing. Seem to a weak link on the TJ's. What motor are you running if it is the 4 banger I would go for an Electric Fan to recover the HP it takes to turn the fan, Also give you the option to turn it off in a water crossing. Not a bad upgrade for the 4.0 either. Might look into a 3 row raditaor as well either or both would be for me if I lived in the desert! tug

2nd the Electric Fan Conversion, mine works great. Go to rustys offroad, it runs 150 and install is simple. Just get a toggle switch to turn off and on when needed or not(water crossing). I put 2 switches on mine. If that doesnt work then I would upgrade to the 3 row radiator. If your still overheating....you got me.
