I just picked up an SYE kit today on sale. I haven't researched the prices of them too much so I don't know how much of a deal I got or if I even got a deal at all. Our local off-road shop has the Advanced Adapters SYE kit on sale now for $309 Canadian (at a 25% exchange rate, this works out to $232 U.S.). It's not the hackn' tap kind. This is the the kind that bolts right in with a new heavy duty shaft. Here's a link to their website.... http://www.nsor.com/specials.cfm

I was lucky to get mine for $245 shipped. I got it on eBay, but they average about $250 w/o shipping. Always check eBay. There is usually some new ones being sold there.

I just ordeded one of the heavy duty type with the new output shafts from JB Conversions http://www.jbconversions.com/ They are on special now for $199 and shipping to CA was under $14. The CV drive shaft costs more than that, go figure.
