TJ front exhaust on a YJ 2.5L

I've heard of this mod before but want to know more about it. Apparently you can take a TJ 2.5L front exhaust pipe and put it on a 2.5L YJ so the pipe runs in front of the oil sump in the oil pan.

What I need to know is, is there any modification required to do this? Does the TJ pipe bolt right up? Has anyone done this mod? Seems like it would make access to the starter more difficult. Any comments are welcomed. Thanks.

I've done this, but it was cheaper and simpler to just have a new front pipe made. It routes in front of the oil sump and is far enough to the pass. frame rail that the starter can be removed without dropping the exhaust. It's nice having it tucked up further now, my old YJ exhaust was smashed flat beneath the bellhousing, what a design

I've heard the TJ pipe bolts right up, but they're not that cheap. Custom was cheaper for me, and I was able to get under the jeep on the lift and tell my mechanic exactly what I wanted.
