Engine Heater

I have a 92 YJ with the 2.5L engine. I just moved to Northern Montana from S.Texas and I am wondering what type of engine heater would be recommended for the winter. I purchased a lower radiator hose heater for the simplicity of installation but I havent installed it yet. Im not sure what the average winter temps are but I think it gets below zero on a regular basis. Any advice would be appreciated.[addsig]

you can get a freeze plug heater.the freeze plugs are located in the engine block, which in most cases is lower then the radiator.they can be popped out and replaced with ones that have a heating element inside, which can be plugged in to the wall.

Advantage I guess would be that your heating up the coolent in the block, which will also warm up your oil slightly.
