washer pump

The rear washer on my 98 Cherokee has stopped working. You can no longer here the pump for the back but the front washer is working fine. Is there two pumps, if so where is the second. The line has been checked and is clear of any blockage. what else should I try? How hard is it to change out the washer pump.

Yes the rear and front pumps are different. They sit side by side in the reservoir.
