squeaky clutch

When i ever i push in the clutch pedal and let it out, particularly when the engine is warm, it squeaks and is gets hard to press in. so i guess you could say that it isn't the clutch pedal itself. does something in ther just need some lube? please help!

03 wrangler, so that's a TJ. still making mouse noises, still haven't figured it out.

I'm thinking possibly a throwout bearing? Just take it to the dealer, it should be under warranty if it's an 03.

it sounds like it is just before the firewall on the outside. i have been trying to call my dealer for the last two weeks!

Sounds like the throwout bearing to me. Mine went out and it was real hard to push the clutch pedal down.
