    I dont get it. Why would SOA cause more spring wrap and flatten your springs fastened. Whats the difference if you twist from the top or bottom the fulcrum is the same.

    they flatten faster because there is a LOT more travel than there is with SUA... and the more the springs flex, the more they fatigue...

    as far as wrap... there is alot more leverage on the springs from the outside of the radius than on the inside

    It boils down to leverage, for both the increase in spring wrap and spring fatigue.
