speedo gear again!

Ive checked several charts and some say 31 teeth and some say 32 teeth for 33's and 3.73 ratio. Does anyone know for sure which one is accurate?

Oooops!!!!!

And it depends on whether your tires are actually 32". Some are sold as 32 that are actually 31 or 31 1/2. My 31's are actually just a hair over 30, which is why the speedo gear the chart gave is just a tad much. And, on mudders, as tread wears, your tires get smaller, which will also affect the speedo gearing.

so say my tires were actually 33", which gear of the two (32 or 31) would give a slower speed?
