front and rear diff

was hoping someone could identify my front and rear diff's also i took some pics of the front end and ball joints and tie rods to see if anyone could tell me if they look bad? thank you in advance for your time. the pics are posted here http://jeepfreak.6te.net/

The front is the late CJ narrow track D30 with the "small" disc brakes, and the rear is an offset diff narrow track CJ AMC M20.

What is it, a 78 or 79?

Can't tell the condition of the balljoints from the pics.
