new lights

I am going to put silverstars headlights on my '80 cj5 and was wondering what would be a good set of driving lights, driving /fog, or hi/lo beam to put on in addition. I've read about the KC's , Deltas, PIAA, Hellas, and then there is the H1,2,3,& 4, HID, xenon ion. plasma coatings. Is there one that stands out above the others??? Not sure I want to mess with the HID kits. Most of my driving will be at night on country 2 lane roads and some back dirt roads with lots of deer on both. Price wise looking at not more than $250. Any thoughts? Thanks
