Distributer is leaking

I have an 85 CJ7 with a 258 I6. I have replaced the gasket on the distributer. The oil is still leaking from somewhere on the distributer. I know there is a breather hole. Could this be causing the leak?

Mine was doing the same thing. I believe that there is a rubber O ring down toward the bottom of the dist. that is probably your problem. Just take the distrubitor out, and find that O ring, and take it down to the parts store and get a new one (it's just a generic O ring, not a Jeep specific one)
