exhaust leak part 2

you guys might remember back in january i post a thread about an exhaust leak i have in my 99 sahara and i been checking it out but i dont see anything cracked or missing... i took it to 4 wheel parts and they check it out and told me that i had to buy the headers but i think they just said that for the business... i have the money to fix it like that but i dont want to spend it until i find the best option for me and my jeep

It's very common for the manifold to crack, and the cracks are generally hard to find. It may mean removing the exhaust manifold to find the cracks.

You can have the cracks welded while it is out, but it may only be a temporary fix as they tend to crack again.

so whats my best option? i really feel like i dont know what to do cause i dont think even the shop knows what to do they just told me to buy aftermarket parts cause they will last longer
