Where I can I find beeter than stock parts?
I want a decent cam/lifter set and aftermarket crank and pistons
I want to go no bigger than .20 over and trying not to get too expensive.
Any ideas?!

I prefer Comp cams when it comes to that area, but I don't want to spend a ton on this rebuild... however I want more than the stock 150 HP

I would recommend Summit Racing, there you can call there tech line and speak to someone who knows the best upgrades for your motor, they can answer questions as to whats best and they have access to a knowledge base of what works and what doesn't. With access to several different manufactures data bases you can get a complete picture of what you need when you make your up-grades.

I'm using the Edelbrock performer cam, lifters, intake, and carburator. As for the Crank and pistons, Summit racing or Jegs would be a good place to start.

Then put a 4.0 straight 6 in there :D

AMC V8 engines were horrible unless you got the 327, 390 or 401.. or any other AMC sedan/coupe motor. the 401 in teh "jeeps" was a great motor, look to swap if you can.
