technical steering wheel removal

i did some lookin around to see what i had here to get that old wheel off.
i soaked it for a week with gun oil.
and just started crankin.
when that thing let loose it made a crack like a bullwhip.

loosen the nut holding the wheel but dont remove completely.
stack washers over horn button switch.
and go to town!
 

Kudos to you, I can honestly say I've never seen it done that way. Wish I had thought of that in highschool right before I broke my nose pulling one off by hand.
 

Very creative! and the steering wheel goes, pop goes the weasel.
 

I'v got the same problem only i dont think my steering wheel is like yours. mine has a nut in the middle and i could be wrong but i think its threaded on to the collum.
