I have an 87 yj with a 4.2 upgraded mc21oo carb kit, upgraded coil, cap, rotor, wires and the nutter by-pass. Jeep has been running fine. The other day I went to go for a ride with my daughter. I had the jeep warming to an idle, once it idled down and was running I was getting ready to go, it stalled has not started since. I found that I was not getting spark from the coil. I am getting fuel. I tested the wire from the coil to the cap its working, just no spark. I have so far change the ignition module..pick up coil in the dist. the coil, the coil wire. and the coil again just in case I am now at a loss I followed chryslers diag book step by step and all tests past, someone have a clue....
