I have a 91 jeep wrangler and I need to adjust the clutch because it is a little spungey. But I dont know how to do it. Can anyone explain it to me?:???:
Thanks, Nick

If your clutch is hydraulically actuated, there is no adjustments. The hydraulic slave will self adjust. If the maximum threshold is reached, worn components needs to be replaced. spongy pedal usually indicates a master or slave failing.

'91 Wrangler is a hydraulic clutch, no adjustment. Make sure the clutch master cylinder has plenty of fluid and pump the bejesus out of the pedal.

It is possible that the salve/master went dead on you... And if it is, I think the '91 is internal slave, so it is a PITA to swap out (my '94 is external, so it takes about 5 minutes, but I think yours is not external).

Thanks for all your help. I made sure the slave cylinder was full of ODOT 3 and pump it a bujillion times and it stiffend up so theres some future advice for all the jeepsters out :evil:there. :deadhorse::cookout:
