Starting Issues

I'm having some issues when it comes to starting my 91 YJ. I've tried the whole turning the key on and sitting for a moment and then turning it over. That worked for a bit but now it is getting worse. It almost acts like it doesn't want to fire. Could this be a coil or sparkplug issue?

I'm not really too mechanical.

Sounds like you should have your ECM checked. It's the box mounted to your fender or firewall under the windshield washer fill tank on the driver side. That's where it's at in mine. Good luck.

Not sure if yours has a crank positioning sensor but I had the same problem with my 95.

I would check the fuel pressure first.
