Jeep commander seat in a cj7

Im working on a cj7 and was wondering if anyone knows if the 2nd row seat from 2006 jeep commander would fit in the front of an 83 jeep cj7?

Check the width. If it's narrow enough, it can be done.

Also, make sure that the two main seats (assuming it holds three passengers) are lined up will with the original arrangement. I don't think you'd want to steer your Jeep hanging out the door.

i dont have the seat yet i wanted tio know if any one knew how wide they are. mounting holes dont matter i have new tub

i got the second row seat it looks like it should fit with a little modification i am going to install in the next couple of weeks will post pics
