    I don't think it matters what type of transmission fluid you use. Unlike some of the others, I wouldn't run it in the crankcase for long. The few times I've added it to the crankcase I didn't run it more than 20 miles before changing the oil ..... although that was years ago when most oils were a lot thicker than what's commonly used today.
