i was wondering for my own reference if someone could tell me what the stock speedo gear is in my 99 jeep tj 2.5L manual trans. rather than me pulling it apart lol..why i was wondering is because i am runing 35" tires now and i changed my axle to 4.88 and according to the chart i think it is suppose to be a 39 toothed gear for this set up.. but right now my speedometer is very accurate but i did not use a gps i just got someone in front of me and it was pretty much the same speed.. i dotn think i am otu very much. is it nessecary to change my speedo gear?? also if i do need to change the gear what shaft length would it be the 2.2" or the 4.3"?
