What did you do to your Jeep today?

Finally installed my hi lift jack. It's only been sitting in the garage for nearly a year.. 2 pieces of 3/16" band iron, thru in a couple 90 deg bends, and 4 drilled holes. Mounted using existing holes: rear door striker and rr roll bar anchor point on top of fender tub. Maybe $10 in materials, most I had laying around. I'll try it for this trip to see how it goes. May come back and modify it more then shoot some paint on it.

PS: Jack measure 55" and so jsut barely fits in that space...!

Found leak in ac hose. I knew it had a leak but its not leaking anymore. Now for some freon and then I will riding in nice cool air again.

Also adjusted tailgate to sit flush

Fixed the E-brake and got a new set of Kevlar enforced Goodyear wrangler MT-R's put on.

Friday I replaced the tps, yesterday was a slow day at works so I bored out a spare tb I had to 61mm and installed it, and last evening I replaced my hashed transmission mount.

Look what came today.. Yes, an Atlas II transfer case. More to come. The donor is waiting.

Looking at the Bestop and rampage. Did you get the bowless that sits on the rollbar? Why rampage.

Yes it's the bowless top from Rampage. I got it in sail cloth. I personally went with the Rampage because the reviews I found on line were better than Bestop's version, and it has a place to store your windows while you have them out. The Bestop comes with a lot of stuff I wouldn't have needed, door surrounds, tail gate bar and rear window clips, which is why it cost a lot more. Hopefully I will get to install it the weekend (not sure due to work and all this rain we have been getting), came in the yesterday, Amazon said 5 to 8 days.

Good luck with that. Could you document the install and issues/fixes. I unless they changed recently I only read positive reviews on Bestop. If you can't do a build thread at least post back with your experience.

Re-programed a new alarm remote. Been kind of. Bum today with it being hot (105).

Isn't that a sign of the apocalypse? Raining frogs.

i put freon in the system yesterday and one line blew off so once i got that tightened down properly, i put in the last can of freon (that didn;t blow out when the line came off) and the ac does work, just needs more freon now
