05 rubicon unlimited

I just bought my 5th jeep paid $12,000 cash for a jeep rubicon unlimited with only 51,000 miles on it. My question is when checking it out I noticed the rear U joint on the axle side was going bad. Only problem I found. Went to replace the u joint and found it had ate into the drive line. I am replacing the drive line rather that rebuilding it. I also looked at the pinion yoke and it looked fine. Anyways can any one think what else to look for the drive line was causing major vibrations when driving it. Also had tires balanced already. Tire store said brakes were pristine and everything looked good but the u joint.

Make sure your pinion angles are correct. Pinion parallel with driveshaft if using a CV joint in the shaft. Pinion parallel to transfer case output if using a non -CV driveshaft.

Agree check your pinion angles. Also check control arm bushings.
