stock yj tires

I had thought 32x 9.50 tires would fit my stock yj, without rubbing issues. Was told at the tire place it would rub with out a lift. My rims are 15", all I want for now is a good rugged snow tire to fit these rims. Was told they don't make them, is this true?

They make decent snow tires that will fit. You have to stay around 225/75r15, anything larger than 28" or 29" will rub in the rear.

You would need a 4" lift to clear 32" tires.

Thanks, but me jeep here I think has only a 3" lift and has 33x12.5 tires on it. it never rubbed. I may be wrong ,but just judge it by the pic.Tell me what you think. Thanks

i had 32 on mine with only 1" shackles and trimmed the fender flares. but i don't go off roading, either.

i have no idea on snow tires but my son has some badass 235/75 or 70/15 on his cherokee. they are freaking monster treads. just google to see what pops up

I ran 30" General Grabber ATs on my "95YJ with no lift. Great for snowplowing & light off roading. I never had any rubbing.
