3.8 Engine Longevity

Ok Guys/Gals, I bought a bone stock used 2007 JK with the 3.8. There's a lot of opinions that these engines don't hold up well. How many miles, on average, do these engines go? Mine has 134,000 on the clock and has not been off road much, barring a few beach trips.

I've heard that talk also. I only have 62k on my 2010 jk and so far the engine has been trouble free. They do say the 3.8 is supposed to be better than the 3.7 ..... time will tell.

Our 07 never gave us any trouble. I forget how many miles were on it when we sold it but it was only about 3 or 4 years ago and we bought it from the second owner and it already had some miles on it
