Suspension lift or body lift

Thanks for the help guys, I figured it out. It has a 3 inch suspension lift. So, I'll get new shocks that are 3 inches longer than stock and some 3 inch bump stops and not bottom out anymore over the slightest bump. I really appreciate the help!

Jack it up let the suspension hang and measure between shock mounts. 1 to 2 inches longer should be fine. Even have someone push down on wheel then measure

Wow, 78cj ! Didn't know those axles weighed that much! Definitely something to consider...

Nice diagram, JPNinPA.

By measuring the weight of the vehicle at all four corners, individually at rest, we can determine the CG of the vehicle in 2 axis (x & Y), but not in the z-axis directly. Never thought about it in relationship to off-road vehicles like this, but it is obviously important for tip over and other concerns like that... RR
