Time for tires again

Well, my BFG KM2 won't pass another inspection, they are just too bald. So, it's time to get some new tires. I've been happy with the KM2s, however that's all I've ever had on my Jeep, so I don't really have anything to compare it to.

I'm tempted to get another set of KM2's - Discount tire has them for $198 each.

I see they also have Falken Wildpeak M/T01 for $180 each. Are these any better / worse than the KM2?

Finally, they have KM3s for $253 each. Are these $50 better than the KM2?

I know this is more opinion than science, but I'd like to hear what you guys have to say.

I recently put Falken Wildpeaks on my JK. Not had them long enough to get any opinion on wear but they look nice and seem to get good traction. I don't do any off roading other than going up/down my mountain driveway. Mine cost $167 per tire - 255/70R-18

The KM3s are worth the extra $50 if you get into rocks or slick rock much. Otherwise, the KM2s are a good tire and you have experience with them.

Just got my Nitto Ridge grapplers and LOVE them! Check out my latest post for Pics. "33" Non lifted"

I should have updated this thread - I ended up getting the KM3s from discount tire - they gave me a pretty good deal on them.

I like the look of the new KM3s better than the KM2s.

AJH - I really like the look of those tires - very nice

Geez, I've had the KM2's on Black Betty for so long they'll probably rot out before I'll wear 'em out. Guess I'm a fair weather jeeper eh?
