New speedo cable=no fix

Hey fella's,last night,my brother and I instaled my new speedo cable,in hopes of making the speedo work.We took a test drive,and nothing.My speedo is still at 5mph when we are doing 50mph. I think my speedo is dead.What do you guys think?

For you Sully my "friend"....I would suggest you buy a TJ...lol

well to fix up that old ratty CJ of your's so you can un-load it on some one I would say call around to some local speed-o shops and see if they can give you an estamate on re-doing the gears in your speedometer. Then compare there qoute to say Quadratec's price for a replacment. Since you did check the cable and the out-put shaft to make sure they are working (turning)(oh course you did right?). I would say your speedo has gone to speedo heaven.

Yup,I checked and made sure the shaft would spin.
