Installed a Webber months ago

If you have a Webber, what did you do with the two check valve coming from and going to the exhaust? They're the hoses that look like their going underneath the 5th and 6th Cylinders towards the Passenger side near the Battery.
These originally went to the air filter.

I just capped them both off, potential problem? or good idea?

90 YJ 4.2 Webber, etc

Dont have a Webber but if you have had it set up that way for that long and it still runs good I would say you made the correct choice in the matter. I would cut em short and plug em good and be done with it. tug

if you are talking about the pulse air system, i just did away with mine. hasnt hurt me any. they really only serve emission purposes. they recycle exhaust fumes from your cat. converter. just cap off the vac port on the front of them, or completely remove the pipes going to the exhaust and weld the holes shut that were left in the cat.

nevermind i just re-read your post and i dont think that you are talking about the pulse air system.

I was refering to the Pulse Air System.
Just forgot the name of it.

The entire Emmisions system in the YJ is so @ss backwards...
If one little thing goes wrong, the entire setup craps out...
I'm damn glad I have the Webber
I no longer have to close the butterfly choke plates on the carter before I start it.
