4.0L head swap

UCF Jeepers?

Has anyone done the 4.0 head swap on a 258 motor. I am looking into this if I can find the parts cheep enough. It sounds like good HP gains, and much improved gas mileage. Is it as easy as it sounds.

I can't help you, but I am sure you already know that there are some really good write-ups on this out there. Let us know how it goes if you decide to do it. I have been wondering myself if it really is as easy as it sounds. Good luck.

i believe all it takes is taking the 258 head gasket lined up under the 4.0 head... trace all the ports... and plug up anything that is not traced... then it should work
