My 4WD light went out about 3 months ago on my 99 TJ. Is there a simple way to fix this or does it involve some major removal of the instrument panel. ??

if it is the lamp, you'll have to remove the instrument panel. it's really not that big of a job

Man, and I was ready to answer that question pertaining to a YJ

How is the 4wd light activated on a TJ? If it's on the transfer case lever, the switch may be out of adjustment. I dunno.

i believe the tranfer case mode switch directly on the side of the transfer case works the light on the dash.
