Refurbish 1973 CJ5

I am rebuilding a 73 CJ and having trouble finding turn signal that mounts to the steering column. Any suggestions on where to find this item.

It's essentially the same as a golf-cart signal unit. If you can find one for a 12 volt cart, you can probably fix something up. It sounds crazy, but I'm pretty sure that's where the signal unit on my 1975 was cobbled from.

When I did my 79 last winter, I found that jeepdoc.com was nearly always the cheapest place out there to find old CJ parts, and their customer service was very good. They specialize in CJ era Jeeps. It looks like they have a kit for that year for about 30 bucks.

They are pretty cheap and carry pretty much everything.
