Denver and heading west...

Let's put it this way (at least for this morning) - You can't head west today!

I-70 is closed due to high wind condition in several places (Eisenhower tunnel, vail pass) and US285 is closed at Kenosha Pass. To go west, you have to head south to Colorado Springs (89 miles) then take US24 west and US9 north to Avon (just a little west of Vail). Several hundred miles.

I-25 is closed north bound between I-70 and 58th street due to a large hole caused by a water main break. The hole is 36 feet (around) and 14 feet deep. The Denver Water Board said that 2 million gallons were lost from the 8 foot water main.

Aint Winter grand?

Yeah, and all of my clinicals are up north. Now I have to take Federal to 36...

Damn winter. Can't wait for flip flops, climbing, and scantily clad girls of summer.
