Cool!! (Reaching for the shotgun). For almost 10 years i've lived here in Central Texas Hillcountry, I've only encountered 1 Rattle snake and it didn't look like it was starving.
 
I've never seen one that big here in Alabama but my dad did. He was driving down the road in his '49 bread truck and a timber rattler was stretched across the road from the yellow line in the middle into the grass. He ran over it with that old heavy truck and the snake didn't even slow down...

LMAO, Maybe the snake was allergic to yeast.
