Remove factory tint form 2006 Grand Cherokee

Hey Jeep Team,

Thanks to your help guys I got 2006 Grand Cherokee and I wonder if it is possible to remove factory tint from windows.

If I'm not Mistaken, Isn't the factory tint made into the glass as the actual glass is made? If it's just regular film tint, you can peel off the tinted plastic film, then get some soapy water in a spray bottle and a box of good razor blades to remove the glue.

Well I figured it out. Based on jeepsunlimited.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129657
if the glass is marked with AS2 marking it is aftermarket tint and can be removed, while AS3 is tinted glass. In my jeep tint on driver and front passenger windows are marked with AS2 and can be removed, while back windows are AS3.

could always throw a brick through the window... that would remove the tint real quickly
