Wheeling in upstate NY??

Well, it looks like I'm finally going to escape southern Louisiana. Company's going to be re-building the Lake Champlain Bridge and I've been asked to manage the surveying end of it. Nothin's final 'til the fat lady sings, but looks like we'll be moving to upstate NY. The bridge runs between NY and Vermont and the location is right on the edge of the Adirondack Park. Looks like a pretty cool (or maybe the proper word is "COLD!") place and should be a welcome change from this place. Anybody on here familiar with the area?? Any wheeling to be had in that big 'ol park???

I dont think there is any legal off roading in NY.I dont know about Vermont.Best thing to do is find a good club that owns private land.
