OK Well I just bought my first Jeep. 1982 CJ7
And I have a 304 built and sitting on engine stand ready to go in
The jeep has a 258 6 with under 2500 miles on it since rebuild if any1 is interested in buying it

Welcome! Where are you? Do I understand that you just bought it and now are selling it? It is a I6 now but you have a 304 v8 ready built to go into it? What are you asking for it? tug[addsig]

Lol tug...he is probably selling the 258 from the jeep, not the jeep itself hehe. Makes sense since he has a nice 304 V8 to put in there.[addsig]

RayOvac you're correct.
Im only selling the 258.
The jeep has trans problems,my plan is to cover the transmission repair cost from selling the 258.
I just have to do some research before i sell it.
Need to find out things like
will the trans in it work with the 304 V8
if so whats repair/replacement cost going to be

the Jeep is in South Carolina, I plan to have video of the motor running on my web site soon
