parking lights come on when batery conected help please

ok we had the jeep out on a side hill tiped it over on its side and the batery fell out (battery box broke off) battery shorted out on headers fried the wireing harness. have replaced it wire by wire and now when i hook up the battery the parking and dash lights come on. have unpluged head light switch and makes no differance any idea guys??????

Could be a wire hooked up to direct power wave u chased wires down to see if all is hooked up correcley

i have traced every wire i can every thing seems to be hooked up corectly. i replaced the harness one wire at a tim from the bulk head out. and i cant find any other wires that maybe melted or shorted out im at a loss.:???:

I would guess that somewhere in the wiring harness is a short to voltage. Trace out the wiring on the lamps and see if a wire melted thru a positive battery source.

That's about the best way to find out u have to have a power sorce, directing power to have them coming on when power is introduced
