worst time...

I found the worst time for a u joint to go out... driving down the highway covered in ice with a semi on your a**... that's a u joint on your axle number 7&8 on the xj

I knew my rear u-joint (on the rear yolk) was going out, and thought I could make it home. NOT A CHANCE!
When that sucker came out it crushed my brand new muffler, broke the rear end yolk, bent the drive shaft, and busted the transfer case.


20.00 U-joint
OR
30.00 muffler
50.00 drive shaft
250.00 transfer case
20.00 rear end yolk

Expensive lesson learned.
