Leaky softop

My factory softop leaks around the hinge that holds it on on the drivers side, about the windshield. Whenever it rains my steering column gets pretty wet. are the stearing column and gagues any way protected from water like this? and what can I do to fix this?[addsig]

Just fold down the winsheild and put a nice heavy, thick bead of silicone on the body where the windshield frame rests and then fold the winshield back up.
