the mate was a mighty sailor and the skipper tried and true.... oh, sorry. ha ha ha

i took the jeep on a three hour round trip to pick up some sweet pedal cars today. the family loaded into the ol' 87 and headed out for the open road. we were heading up the highway to a certain tractor supply that had some sweet pedal cars with big monster off-road tires because we had promised the kids some a few months ago and at 200 bucks a pop, they are a heck of a deal. we did about 70mph the whole way and got about 14mpg with a 30mph head wind with gusts of 40 for the return trip.

this is after the long trip

the trip was not that bad because i had previously lifted the rear seat and moved it a half inch forward of its normal position so the kids legs weren't so cramped from the little step.

Those are very cool, I'd love to have had one when I was a kid. Aw, might as well admit it. I'd like one now, maybe a set of Mickey Thompsons, a belt drive for the generator to run the off road lights and cd player. 5Point harnass. Yep kick it up a notch!

dude, these things as so much fun. we have a fairly large yard and our street has ditches all the way down it till you get to the bay. you can go through the ditches (and get stuck, ha ha ha) through the sand, and through the edges of hte water.

i am going to try and put a larger front sprocket on the cart so i can get a little higher top end and not so much off the line power. right now, if you pull back and pedal hard, like on a bike, it will pop a wheelie easily
