The shame of it all is that the new JK's have a real "hummer" look to them.........I always like it when the hummers were "Jeep wannabes", not the other way around.

That's what I thought of the JKs when they came out, but now I really crave the extra space. I hated my last car because it couldn't get anything done except take me from point A to point B. And it had no space for taking anything anywhere.

Personally I hate hummers for what they are doing to our environment most of all, but they also pay Jeep a lot of money because of a law suit over their grill. All car companies have the rights to their own grills by law, and Hummer "borrowed" jeep's. Now the spoils of the Hummer company are rolling right into Chrysler's pocket. I don't know how much, or for how long but still.

GM is not paying Jeep anything. Chrysler sued and lost.

DaimlerChrysler sued, charging that the seven-slotted grille was a Jeep trademark and that the grille on the Hummer H2 produced by AM General for GM was too similar to its design.
A federal court judge in South Bend, Ind., rejected DaimlerChrysler's argument.
"We're disappointed, but the court's decision basically ended the case, and the fight is over," said Chrysler Group spokeswoman Ann Smith.
"We're really glad this is behind us and we can move ahead with growing the Hummer brand," said Hummer General Manager Mike DiGiovanni.
Chrysler will continue to use the seven-slotted grille on its Jeep products, Smith said.

Look at ur grill then look at the hummer grill. They copied our grill.
