Welcome rod! You definitely made a good choice, but you already know that ...
I agree with everything he has said as far as driving the jeep goes. Its hard to pinpoint my favorite part about driving them, but I can say that one of my most favorite things is when you are sitting at a light and some guy pulls up next to you in some souped up sports car, or truck, or whatever, and he just stares at your jeep. It makes me feel good to know that hes most likely going to be paying for that for years to come, I got mine for about 4k, and he's jealous. It reminds me of that state farm commercial, where the guys wife calls the agent all mad because her husband bought a falcon with all the money they saved, and they're walking down the street and some other dude walks by with this extravagant exotic bird flailing everywhere, and he says "oh! I could've got a falcon".... perfect

Thanks TJ Boise.. My favorite is a YJ.. not that I wouldn't take any jeep but I just like that accouple years they went with square headlights.. keeping it pretty much the same as the jeep of the good old days, but with square lights.. but the old CJ I got is pretty cool.. Cool retro look.. I was looking at part at accouple different sites and even new you can get about everything and most is pretty reasonable.. and the 258 under the hood has mega torque even with the 3 speed.. and after I put some main bearing in it is should be mechanically good shape.. just gotta get the body up to snuff and a shiny blue paint job but that'll come soon enough.. right now it's just fun driving it.. even took I light drive up in the wood with the kids.. didn't push it to hard because of the main bearings but the kids couldn't believe it.. wait till they see what it can really do..lol

I like that with every new mod on my LJ it feels new all over again. I love the waves by fellow jeepers and the nods by other people. My LJ is sox years old and still turns a lot of heads.

I'm sure You have, it's the jeep wrangler unlimited 2004-2006 about 13" longer than a TJ
