anyone had the opportunity to take the windshield wiper mechanism apart? my motor works for a second or two managing to turn the wiper studs a tad, then locks-up.

sounds like it's the nylon gear in the motor, but i haven't pulled it apart yet.

forgot to fix it during the rebuild. maybe i should add it to the list of dumb things i've done/forgot to do on my jeep.[addsig]

i've heard that actually a little squirt of a penetrating oil will free them up... i'd give that a try before ripping the thing apart! [addsig]
