So I was on highway 65 about an hour south of Montgomery Alabama

And in the north bound lanes I see a dude cruising his dark green Sahara with soft top, 4" lift, 33s, bumpers, and a huge u-haul trailer. He was pulling a 10 or 12 foot enclosed u-haul and looked to be having a great time.

I bet though, he was not getting the best gas mileage

The next trip will be in the jeep, that's for sure

Ha!! i seriously agree with you on his gas mileage towing something that big behind a short wheelbase on a 6 cyl. I towed a car hauler that has the hyraulic tilt and winch and can load 2 jeeps. I use to get 8-10mpg on my 360 but when i towed that trailer i got 4-5mpg roughly and punched a hole on my garage door backing that long arse trailer.

U-haul will not rent trailers for pulling behind a soft top jeep. I've tried. He must have picked it up with another vehicle then swapped it to the jeep.

He probably picked it up with the hard top on.

I've towed a small 6 or 8 foot uhaul with my Jeep, and that was too much for it - I was blown all around the highway. I couldn't imagine that big of an enclosed trailer.

I know it sure looked bad, that's why I commented. I figured you guys would enjoy it too.
