Soft top off while traveling

Hi guys!!!

I'm going to travel from Montreal to NY this weekend. I wanted to know if I drive with half of my soft top off, will bugs get on the material ?

Will you be traveling at highway speeds? Traveling that fast for a couple hours without a top will make your hair hurt.

I've driven my unlimited with the sunrider open on several occasions and never noticed a problem with bugs getting trapped in the material.

I have a JK and I find that if bugs get past the grill and past the front windshield.... They usually don't make it into the soft top.
The windshield is usually a magnet for bug splatter and of course rocks !! I think you'll be just fine.
